About Police Dynamics
Sheriff Nash’s experiences as a police administrator and trainer led to a deep concern over the destructive influences of the police lifestyle and the ineffectiveness of many common police strategies. Over the years, he began to integrate a number of character-based principles with a Community Policing philosophy. The overwhelmingly positive response led to the founding of the Police Dynamics Institute in 1998.

The Police Dynamics program is a series of character-based principles, known as "dynamics," that are designed to empower police officers to be more effective in both their professional and personal lives. The dynamics are packaged in a fast-paced and exciting training program that is both entertaining, enlightening and relevant to law enforcement today. The principles are universal in their application and can be applied to virtually any relationship.

Agencies from around the world have reported an increase in morale and public support coupled with a decrease in crime and citizen complaints. Sheriff Nash has presented Police Dynamics to police agencies and other organizations throughout the United States from Florida to Hawaii. He traveled to Romania twice at the invitation of their National Police to train key police officials. He was a featured speaker at the Moscow Police College, held in the U.S. for Moscow police commanders, and has presented to a number of international groups including Honduran, Mexican, Muldovan and Mongolian police officials.
